WashU-Zebrafish Genome Resources Project

The goal of the WashU-Zebrafish Genome Resources Project is to develop useful genomic and genetic tools to facilitate biological investigations in zebrafish.  We are developing expressed sequence tags (ESTs) (in collaboration with Sandy Clifton and the Genome Sequencing Center EST lab), mapping genes and ESTs (in collaboration with John McPherson at the Genome Sequencing Center), allocating and designing EST mapping primers to other labs (Dan Fischer and Rick Waterman), and improving inbred zebrafish mapping strains (Steve Johnson, Chad Clayton and Jason Gross).  We are funded by NIH grant RO1DK55379 - Stephen L. Johnson, PI.
