Postdoctoral Fellowships — Genetics and Genomics



The Department of Genetics provides an outstanding venue for research on the genetics, developmental and cell biology of model organisms and humans, and is a world leader in genomics with its internationally recognized Genome Center. We are seeking outstanding young scientists to join our team. Please direct your application to one of the following faculty:

Model organism genetics:
Susan Dutcher: centriole duplication and tubulin isoforms
Steve Johnson: growth control in zebrafish development
Tim Schedl: germ cell development in C. elegans
Jim Skeath: neurodevelopment in Drosophila
Tanya Wolff: establishment of tissue polarity in Drosophila

Human Genetics:
Anne Bowcock: complex diseases
Mike Lovett: craniofacial development and hearing loss
Nancy Saccone: complex diseases, quantitative methods

Genomics:
Barak Cohen: gene regulatory networks in yeast
Justin Fay: population and evolutionary genetics
Jim Havranek: Computational and experimental studies of protein-DNA interactions
Elaine Mardis: DNA sequencing and microarray technology
Rob Mitra: technology development for systems biology
Gary Stormo: computational biology of DNA
George Weinstock: Infectious diseases and genomic
Rick Wilson: DNA sequencing technology

Statistical Genomics:
Michael A. Province: statistical methods, complex modeling, study design, complex traits
Ingrid B. Borecki: cardiovascular disease, obesity, metabolic diseases, statistical genetics
