I am a graduate student at Washington University in St Louis. St Louis is a very different city from Vancouver, where I spent 50% of my life. I miss the ocean, the mountains, and the beautiful sunsets. Fortunately people I've met here are quite nice and make my stay here more enjoyable. My motto is "Play hard! study hard!" so I may seem to "touch-fish" a lot, believe me that I somehow earn those touching-fish moments. somehow
In my spare time, which is getting less every day, I enjoy many different things: travelling, hiking, photography, cross-stitching, playing piano, singing, playing video games, writing, and reading. The toughest part is to decide what I want to do everyday. Recently I decided to take photography seriously and have been practicing with my new digital SLR camera. Sometimes I imagine that an ideal alternate career for me would be a nomadic writer/photographer. Maybe I'll do that after graduate school.
